Las siguientes piezas digitales NO FUERON realizadas por mi puño y pulso. Lo siguiente está hecho con Midjourney. Una de tantas “inteligencias artificiales” que está generando distintas sensaciones a través del medio. A algunos les asusta y a otros emociona. Por mi parte, me confunde. Y al mismo tiempo que esta es una herramienta poderosa, como toda inteligencia programada, no puede hacer nada que no esté dentro de sus límites establecidos por un equipo de personas. A simple vista impresiona y podría funcionar como la base para piezas artísticas de alta calidad. Pero en general realiza piezas relativamente “vacías” (hasta el día de hoy).
Siento que este tipo de herramientas- aunque buena y eficaz- nos está distrayendo de otras preocupaciones que necesitan de nuestra atención urgentemente en las áreas de la espiritualidad y la psicología- entre otros temas. Confío en que habrá quienes pongan límites a lo que pinta ser “el principio del fin” (o no).
P.D. Nótese que una computadora no comprende la cultura prehispánica (aun). 😬

The following digital pieces were NOT made by my fist and pulse. The following is made with Midjourney. One of many "artificial intelligences" that is generating different sensations through the medium. Some are scared and some are excited. For my part, it confuses me. And while this is a powerful tool, like all programmed intelligence, it can't do anything that isn't within its limits set by a team of people. At first glance it impresses and could work as the base for high quality artistic pieces. But in general he makes relatively "empty" pieces (until today).
I feel that these types of tools - although good and effective - are distracting us from other concerns that urgently need our attention in the areas of spirituality and psychology - among other topics. I trust that there will be those who put limits on what appears to be "the beginning of the end" (or not).
P.S. Notice how a computer doesn’t understand prehispanic culture (yet…). 😬
